Our client, is urgently searching for an enthusiastic and driven Human
Resources (HR) Intern to join their team in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. The
successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the HR department with
administrative and HR related tasks.
Skills and qualifications required:
• A Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources or related qualification.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel
and Outlook).
• The ability to work as part of the team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-orientated.
• Basic knowledge & application of relevant employment legislation
(BCEA, LRA, Skills Development Act and Employment Equity Act).
Duties and responsibilities:
• Assisting the HR team with all HR administration, which will include:
Administration and coordination of all staff files.
• Updating the company’s internal platform with employee details.
• Collating course related data, including confirmation of training venues
and dates.
• Assist with induction and orientation of new staff, compiling welcome
and starter packs.


Organizing and completing all recruitment administration- responding to
applications and passing CV’s to the HR Manager for further
consideration.
• Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
• Preparing and compiling interviews packs.
• Ensure that all HR filing and archiving is up-to-date.
• Assisting with leave queries.
• Maintaining the HR calendar and assisting the HR Manager with the
scheduling of various programs including performance reviews.
• Ensure timeous submission of new employee information packs to
payroll programs.
• Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours and bank accounts.
