An East London toddler has reportedly been mauled to death by a pit bull.

Sadly, a toddler has been mauled by a Pitbull in the Eastern Cape few hours ago.

The 1 year old was attacked by a pitbull from the neighbourhood and was declared dead.

The dog is believed to be from the neighbourhood.

Provincial health department spokesperson Yonela Dekeda promised to respond shortly.
